Iran delegation to visit Colombo

A top level five member Iranian delegation will visit Sri Lanka
tomorrow under the leadership of Ayatollah Thaskiri.
Ayatollah Thaskiri is the Secretary General of the Forum for
Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought and a member of the Assembly of
Experts of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The other members of this
delegation are also scholars and academics in various fields.
The delegation will stay in Sri Lanka for three days. They are
scheduled to attend several events in Colombo.
The Iran embassy cultural section has organised a discussion for Sri
Lankan religious scholars with the delegation on the topic 'The
importance of unity among Muslims' The discussion will take place at the
Cultural Section auditorium at 6, Sir Earnest de Silva Mawatha, Colombo
7 at 4.30pm on April 27 followed by dinner. Moulavis and religious
dignitaries will participate.
