R&G Capital brings 'Total Laser Care Solution'

R&G Capital (Pvt) Ltd, pioneers in manufacturing compatible Laser Toner Cartridges in Sri Lanka - has put forward a cutting-edge solution, in this time of belt-tightening, by offering the customers a Total Laser Care (TLC) solution in regard to HP, Lexmark, Samsung, and Canon Laser Printers.

Stuart Lacey, General Manager, International Sales, Static Control Components presenting the STMC certificate to S. M. Godwin, Managing Director, R&G Capital (Pvt) Ltd.

R&G as a total care solution provider presents two cost cutting options to customers: a commitment basis contract and a pay as you print option.

Under the commitment basis contract, the customer can purchase ink toner cartridges from R&G Capital, 30% cheaper than the original cartridge. Not stopping there the company will go the extra mile to provide maintenance and services free of charge to ensure that nothing interrupts the productivity of your business. Even if the warranty of the printer has expired R&G will attend to any maintenance, which includes replacing parts and providing a back up printer until the repair is completed.

For the second option, the customer can pay according to the number of pages that he or she prints.

This is an ideal solution for those who use printing excessively. If 1,000 pages are printed, the customer will only have to pay for the said 1,000 pages.

Under this option R&G provides the printer and the laser toner cartridges and only charges the customer for the number of pages printed. Due to this the customer would not have to worry about investment or the initial capital required.

"This is a recession product," commented Godwin, Managing Director, R&G Capital (Pvt) Ltd., relaying his sentiments about the new solution that the company is offering to the competitive market. "This is a cost cutting product that has come to the market at the right time."

R&G provides an island wide service with branches located in Wattala, Nugegoda, Kotahena, Kandy, Kurunegala, Matara and Jaffna.

Furthermore, they have tied up with UPS Courier, presenting prompt responses to the orders placed, which represents their perception of 'Just in Time.' This renders storing unnecessary, cutting down complications related to storing such as damaging the product and theft.

Signal continues with Night Time Brushing campaign

Signal, the oral care expert of Unilever Sri Lanka, further to its success last year with the 'Night Time Brushing' campaign, is launching a similar campaign to further encourage consumers, especially children on night time oral care.

The 2011 ‘Signal Night Time Brushing’ competition winners with their parents/guardians.

The campaign termed as '21 day Brush and Dance Challenge' will be launched soon where both parents and children are encouraged to brush their teeth in the night for 21 consecutive days. Throughout the past 5 decades Signal has been talking to generations of mothers about teeth, toothpaste, toothbrushes and more recently the importance of getting their kids to brush their teeth twice daily, as night time brushing is considered a chore by both the parent and the child.

As research has confirmed kids are more likely to brush their teeth if they do it together with their parents in a fun yet educational way, Signal launched the 'Night Time Brushing' campaign last year which was entirely a habit transformation programme.

Mihira Kulatunga, Brand Manager, Signal said "Science of sharing' research which has been carried out over the past few years by Signal proves that doing things together with children increases the likelihood of them adopting a new behaviour - and the likely time to adopt a new behaviour, it takes around 21 days of repeated action.

Therefore Signal launched the campaign to promote and preserve oral hygiene of Sri Lankan consumer."

Research has also indicated that brushing day and night with fluoride toothpaste can cut tooth decay up to 50% for children.

The most recent Oral Health Report conducted in Sri Lanka reveals the state of the nation's children's teeth. According to this report, on average, Sri Lankan children only start brushing their teeth regularly at the age of 14, leaving plenty of time beforehand for oral disease to set in. Worryingly, 70% of the people in Sri Lanka admit that they don't brush their teeth the recommended minimum of twice a day.

In order to take forward last year's initiative, the 2012 campaign is termed 'Night Time Brush and Dance Challenge' where it is targeted at Parents and kids to engage in a dance act while brushing their teeth in the night.

The campaign will kick off on May 1. All parents have to do is pick up the Signal 160g "Night Time brushing Pack' which has 21 day sticker sheet and get their kids to brush and dance.
