Seven arrested with valampuri

Seven suspects who allegedly transported a valuable valampuri in a van were arrested by Weeraketitya Police on Saturday. The Police also recovered 24 live cartridges, a plastic pistol and two conch shells from the suspects' possession.

The Police produced the suspects before Walasmulla magistrate. Weeraketiya Police are conducting further investigations.
