Under Gama Neguma programme:
Road widened and carpeted at a cost of Rs 84 million
The widening and carpeting of the dilapidated
Maradankadawala-Punchikulama road in the Anuradhapura district, began
recently by the North Central Chief Minister Berty Premalal Dissanayake.
The expenditure incurred for the project had been Rs 84 million.
The 'Gama Neguma' programme funds the North Central Provincial Road
renovation venture. The particular road had not been renovated for the
last twenty years, causing immense difficulties to villagers residing in
Henukkagama, Dhampelesagama and Pallekagama.
