US practising double standards
*Cabinet will decide on LLRC report implementation
*Some recommendations need changes in law
Even Israel has decided to quit the UNHRC, but,
Sri Lanka has not taken a decision to leave the UNHRC. Sri Lanka
only wishes to point out the double standards practised by the US on
Israel and Sri Lanka at the UNHRC, Acting Media Minister Lakshman
Yapa Abeywardena said. The Cabinet will take a decision on the
strategy of implementing the LLRC report recommendations.
