An innovative stress relaxation programme titled 'Right persons for
the Right positions at the Right place' will go on the boards at the
Grand Oriental Hotel on March 31 from 7.30 pm. The programme consists of
three items - a hilarious comedy, sing-a-long with a sumptuous buffet
dinner.
The hilarious comedy (dinner theatre) has been created on a concept
of internationally acclaimed actor and comedy maestro, Wilson Gunaratne.
He will be portraying four characters - an Indian, an Italian, a
Black American and a Sri Lankan, which are popular characters out of 'Charitha
Atak', stage drama. The cast includes actor Wilson Gunaratne, Michel
Funke (German), Sandun Wijesiri, Keerthi Bandara and G Chandrathilak.
Commenting on his latest creation Guneratne observed that he uses
humour as a therapy for his creations as well as for unique staff
motivation programmes.
"Humour brings laughter, laughter brings happiness and happiness
brings better health conditions. Realizing the scientific base of humour,
I continue to perform and to do my studies with several professors and
doctors in Sri Lanka and overseas, actor Wilson Gunaratne noted.
The programme would be presented by Dr Vijaya Corea together with
culinary art expert Ruwan Withana and singing sensation Nalin and the
star combination.
Grand Oriental Hotel General Manager Dulip De Alwis gives his
guidance to the organizing committee to make the event a success.
"I am confident that this special programme would definitely be a
memorable evening as we have got the 'right persons for the right
positions at the right place", Gunaratne noted.
