Divi Neguma phase 3 launch on April 5

The Divi Neguma third phase programmes will commence at 42,000 locations countrywide on April 5, Economic Development Ministry Additional Secretary R.R.A.K Ranawaka said.

The ministry has organised three programmes for each Grama Seva Division to mark the Divi Neguma third stage inaugural programme, he said.

This will be held as an awareness programme.

Under the participation of provincial political leaders with Gramaseva Officers, Samurdhi officers, agricultural officers, the first stage will be commenced, he said.

Divi Neguma will help develop all agricultural sectors in the country which include agriculture, livestock, fisheries and small scale enterprises. A dengue eradication drive will be another major activity under the Divi Neguma programme.

Seeds, saplings, chicks and other items will be distributed at this event, he said.
