BSC, CIS clash in inter-international schools U-17 soccer final

British School in Colombo (BSC) will battle it out to gain what they missed last year with defending champions Colombo International School (CIS) in the boys' final while Elizabeth Moir will play against Colombo International School in the girl's final in the Ritzbury sponsored International School's under-17 Football Tournament today from 3pm onwards at City Football Complex, Colombo 2.

CIS beat Lyceum ,Nugegoda by 4-0 (Seung Jun Baek, Raffique Rheyas, Uvin Dissanayake, Kieran Paulas )in the boys' quarter finals and defeated Gateway College by 2-0 (Seung Jun Baek, Jaehoon Parkin) the semi final.

BSC reached finals when they overcame Royal Institute by 1-0 in the quarter finals and in the semi finals they beat Elizabeth Moir in a penalty shoot out by 3-2 after a drawn game Colombo International School reached the Ritzbury International schools girls' finals with an exciting penalty decision over Gateway College in the Semi Finals by 3-2. Their opponent in the final Elizabeth Moir beat BSC by 3-2 after both teams score no goals until the final whistle.
