Foundation laid for tank rehabilitation

Foundation stone for the development of Nilanthattuwa tank in the Dodangaslanda electorate was laid by Kurunegala District MP, Nilwala Wijesinghe on March 23 under the "One Project for One Village" programme of the Economic Development Ministry.

"The estimated cost of this project is one million rupees. We have planned to dredge the tank. The earth we get by dredging will be utilised for the development of the playground of the Nilanthattuwa Vidyalaya," MP said.
