CIC Agri, Aviva team up to provide life insurance

Brings benefits to thousands of farmers:

Two o Sri Lanka's Dynamic Private Sector Companies CIC Agri Businesses and Aviva NDB Insurance teamed up to provide Life Insurance policies to thousand farmers recently.


MD/CEO CIC Agri Businesses Keerthi Kotagama and MD Aviva NDB Insurance Sha Ruf and other officials are seen after signing the agreement

The Life Insurance Policy will provide the Farmers with a cash benefit of Rs.75,000/- in the event of death and a further Rs.15,000/- as funeral expenses.

If death is due to an Accident the benefit will be Rs.150,000.

The Policy will also provide Rs.500/- per day as Hospitalization Charges. The Premium for the Policy is only Rs.100/- per month and CIC Agri Businesses has agreed to pay up the premium on behalf of he farmers.

Initially one thousand Farmers mainly from the North Central Province were handed over Life Insurance Policies.
