The "Fusiotherm," Polypropylene-R80 Random Copolymer pipes, is one of the most famous product for cold and hot water applications from Aquatherm family in Sri Lankan market, that uses in many large land marked projects like Island Residencies, The Central Hospital, Chaaya Bay, Galadari, Hilton, Bentota Beach Hotel, Ansell Lanka and many more with proven results.

Many of the pipes available in the market by Polypropylene family are either first generation or second generation. The first generation pipes are 100% made out of Polypropylene, where it's having more elongation in heat expansion and less in strength, hence many supporting brackets required to hold the pipe.

The second generation comes out with solution to elongation and strength. The thin aluminum pipe cover insert into the pipe line. But operationally, it is difficult to handle, since each and every welding joint need to peel off the Aluminium foil.

The third generation pipe overcomes that difficulty by introducing special composite material pipe tube covered with Polypropylene material. The composite pipe is with less expansion and more strengthen than other two. This special 3rd generation PPR pipe is called "Facer Composite" pipe that can withstand the pressure up to 22 bars at atmospheric temperature.
