Epic knocks by Nimesh and Marwel

A magnificent knock of 152 by Nimesh Fernando and a superb century by Marwel Fernando (101) helped St.Sebastian's College to pile up a total of 380 runs at the inter schools under-19 division II match against Wesley College Colombo which St. Sebastians won on first innings and concluded at Moratuwa recently.

Nimesh Fernando's epic knock included 24 boundaries and three sixes while captain Marwel Fernando included 15 boundaries and three sixes in his century. Savin Fonseka took four for 150. Sebs declared at 380 for 7.

In reply, Wesley College batsmen failed to impress that much. They were all out for 207 runs with Anjuna Perera top scoring with 54. Ashen Fernando bagged three for 45.

St. Sebastians were 101 for 1 at close of play with Peshan Anthony scoring 65.
