This February, over the last weekend Mount Lavinia Hotel brought the
flavoursome marvel of the East Coast prepared seafood presented in true
American style at the Tropical Hut in the enchanting ambience of their
breathtaking private beach.
Guest Chef Doug Dillard from Baltimore prepared the seafood with the
infusion of quality local seafood entwined with the cooking traditions
used in Maryland USA. Guests were entertained by soothing soft music and
was treated to a mouth watering choice of succulent seafood with
delectable tastes.
The evening commenced with a pre-dinner celebration of fine aged rum
and extra coco blend chocolate pairing session. Chef Doug's exquisite
menu was undoubtedly unique and loved by all.
