Great Gods, what a night it was last Friday with the launch of the
new beverage Blu. The room was bathed in blue light that was absolute
stunning. Blu was launched with a jam packed audience who were loud,
excited and aggressive.

After tasting the drink, one didn't have to imagine the kind of
effect it would have on the consumers of Sri Lanka. An image of hundreds
of young girls and boys clamoring for it with outstretched hand comes to
one's mind. A vision of a man wandering in the desert comes across an
Oasis and he partakes from a stream of Blu.
With unparalleled taste, value and functionality, the new beverage is
manufactured using the latest water purification technology in pristine
conditions to guarantee highest quality standards to its customers.
Research and development has gone into the creation of this next
generation energy drink which provides great tasting, sustained and
hydrating energy without the usual bitter after tastes of other brands.
"In today's fast paced environment, energy drinks are becoming very
popular and we are happy to introduce the beverage to cater to this
segment. Combining a host of sugars, vitamins, minerals and of course
water, the drink has an appealing taste that builds on you," Lanka Milk
Foods Director Sanjeevani Jayawardena said.
A product of Poland, the energy drink is available in 30 countries
worldwide spanning all the continents and covering the Americas, Europe,
Africa and Asia.
There are two variants - Regular and Cranberry - and they will hit
the shelves of supermarkets, A Grade outlets plus hotels, restaurants
and clubs and will ride on LMFs superior distribution network to reach a
wide segment of consumers across the country. |
