Naval war hero’s family receives house
Sri Lanka Navy Seva Vanitha Unit handed over a new house to the
family of a naval war hero under the patronage of defence Ministry Seva
Vanitha Unit chairperson Ioma Rajapaksa, recently at Aluth Malkaduwawa
in Kurunegala.

The house was constructed utilizing funds raised by screening the
films provided free to the Navy by Film Director Dr. Somaratne
Dissanayake and Film Producer Renuka Balasooriya. The house was handed
over to the wife and three daughters of the Naval war hero late Petty
Officer I M S K Jayasinghe.
