Sanka and Suchira strengthen Cambrians

A brilliant knock of 117 runs by Cambrian all-rounder Shanaka Dulaj
with 17 fours and one six facing 119 balls and another solid knock of 85
runs by opener Suchira Fernando with 12 hits to the rope, and
associating a third wicket partnership of 263 runs among them helped
Prince of Wales College to gain a handsome lead of 146 runs in their
first innings against Mahanama College, Colombo in their inter-school
under 19 cricket match worked off at Moratuwa. So far, Shanaka Dulaj has
scored 750 runs and taken 67 wickets while Suchira Fernando has passed
the 600 mark.
Mahanama in their first essay were 211 runs all out with Senura
Welagedera 56 and Cambrians declared at 357 for 4 and in their second
essay Mahanama did well to score 298 for 9 at close with Dulanjana Silva
making 71 runs. Thilan Nimesh claimed 6 for 122.
