'Scout Movement active for the past century'

The Scout Movement has been active in the country for the last
century or so due to the dedicated efforts of past scouts who now form
the country's elderly population, Water Supply and Drainage Minister
Dinesh Gunawardana said.
He was addressing a ceremony to mark World Scouts Day and awards
ceremony at the Bandaranaike Memorial Conference Hall.
To mark the Scouts Movement, the Sri Lanka Scout Association had
published its annual report and issued medals and a commemoration stamp. |
