Nimesh (105) excels for Sebs 'A' team

Nimesh Fernando of St.Sebastian's College 'A' Moratuwa, struck a splendid knock of 105 runs at the match against De Mazenod College, Kandana 'A' which ended claiming a win of innings and 62 runs for St.Sebastian's College at Kandana recently.

St.Sebastians College 'A' scored 242 in their first innings. Nimesh Fernando was the star batsman of the side collecting 105 runs inclusive of 15 boundaries and two sixes while Akash Silva (three for 95) and Kusal Janith (three for 55) were the most impressive among the bowlers.

In reply, De Mazenod College 'A' scored 100 runs. Onil Nonis hit 22 while Rohan Perera contributed 19 runs. Shan Fernando was the main wrecker with five for 45. Mazenod's were only able to score 80 runs in their follow on. Sachin Fernando was the only batsman with 28 runs while Anjelo Eranga was the most successful among the bowlers with four for 16.
