Biyagama businessman hacked to death
A leading businessman and owner of Biyagama
Village Hotel, was hacked to death in the early hours yesterday.
Police said R B Bernard Jayaratne was hacked with a sharp weapon at
Nalangawatta land in Pahala Dompe, Dompe by an unidentified man who
came on a motorcycle. The assailant fled the scene after committing
the crime.
