Sylvestrians out for 151

Ananda College, Colombo were 70 for two against St.Sylvester's total of 151 at the end of the first day in their under-19 match plyed at Ananda Mawatha yesterday. St.Sylvester's College, Kandy won the toss and decided to bat. Pasindu Madushanka weakened the Sylvestrian innings bagging 5 for 37.

Sachin bags 6 for 18

Left arm leg spinner Sachin Jayawardena of Wesley College bagged six for 18 to limit Dharmapala College, Pannipitiya to a very low total of 62 at Campbell Park yesterday. In reply, Wesley College scored 262 for their first innings with the help of two good knocks by Ashan Fonseka (78) and Sachin Jayawardena(49). Asanka Sameera bagged four for 63 while Kushan Jayalath captured two for 60 for Dharmapala.

St. Anthonys College, Kandy scored 240 in 67.02 overs in their Division I Inter-schools cricket match against St. Peters College, Colombo which commenced at Katugastota yesterday. Sachin Bulathsinhala scored 60 for Anthonians while Julian de Silva took 4 for 44 for St. Peters.

St. Anthonys 240. Yohan Woods 24, Nimesha Gunasinghe 34, Sachin Bulathsinhala 60, Manoj Sarathchandra 20, Saranga Rajaguru 32, Julian de Silva 4 for 44, Dushan Hemantha 2 for 49, Chrishan Fernando 2 for 41.

Sebs gain lead

St Sebastian's College, Moratuwa has already gained a first innings lead of 96 runs against St Aloysius College, Galle at Rathgama. Sebs batting first were all out for 156 runs with Satchintha Fonseka top scoring with an unbeaten 41 runs and in reply Aloysius were bundled out for 60 runs with skipper Amila Aponso 3 for 10, Sanitha de Mel 3 for 15 and Isuru Mendis 3 for 28).
