Govt to uplift children's lives
The ministers inaugurating the electricity project.
The government will uplift the level of children's education in
remote villages by providing them with electricity, Technology and
Research Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi said.
She was addressing the inaugural ceremony at the Eheliyagoda
Keenagahavila Ingiriya Kalukade Electricity project. The project costs
The project was mooted by Power and Energy Deputy Minister Premalal
Jayasekara under the Iran Electricity Project.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa is keen to empower the children with
knowledge. All the facilities received by children living in urban areas
will be provided to children in remote villages too, minister
