COYLE visits Hambantota
Says a land of opportunity for PPP's:
The Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs COYLE recently visited
Hambantota as a part of their mission of promoting investments through
collaborative efforts with state authorities. Hambantota District MP
Namal Rajapaksa had extensive discussions with the COYLE delegation of
over 50 new generation entrepreneurs for investment promotions in the
area.

COYLE Chairman, Nayana Dehigama said that it is quite encouraging the
various aspects of investment possibilities they discussed with the
authorities.
"The couple of hours we interacted with MP Namal Rajapaksa were very
productive and we could foresee how the new generation state leadership
can create synergy with the new generation entrepreneurs as the thought
processes show similarities and converge easily.
Opportunities on offer in Hambantota under the new development
programme of the government are promising and great. Progress of
infrastructure development in the area is highly commendable" he said.
Some COYLE members have already commenced implementation activities
of several medium and large-scale ventures in Hambantota area while many
have expressed positive signs of investments in the area, he added.
During this visit the COYLE delegation visited the Hambantota Port
and the Mattala Airport site as well.
"The support extended to us by Dr Priyath Bandu Wickrama, Chairman of
the Sri Lanka Ports Authority in guiding the visits and meetings was
commendable," Dehigama said.
COYLE was formed as a business chamber of entrepreneurs in 1999 with
the vision to be the most influential and vibrant trade chamber for the
young business leaders in Sri Lanka with 17 members on board.
Today its membership has grown to over 100 leading and prominent
entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka.
Members of COYLE contribute immensely to the economic progress,
stability and prosperity of the country while raising voice and unbiased
opinion on matters of national importance.
As of today, COYLE members own and run over 200 leading business
enterprises in diverse sectors and across all industries in the country
and they provide in excess of 250,000 employments to our nation while
contributing in excess of Rs. 300 Billion towards the country's GDP
through local and international trade.

Sri Lanka and in the Asia Pacific, and have been rewarded by various
