Ishara and Harsha set up an innings win

A superb innings of 188 by 16 year old Ishara Rangana (22 fours, 2 sixes, 164 balls) set up a Sri Rahula victory over Palipane Chandananda National school by an innings and 245 runs in their tournament match played at the Pallekelle Prison Grounds over the weekend.

Rangana's was a flawless knock till he reached 120 and after that he got a bit careless. Consistent all-rounder Roshan Subasinghe grabbed 6-20 with his left arm spin bowling and then made an attacking 57 not out. In a change of Script, Sri Rahula's paceman Harsha Wickremasinghe (6-21) and Nimesh Dunumadalawa (3-13) swept aside the first nine wickets. Sri Rahula top their group with three wins out of three.
