Arogya 2012 to boost healthcare sector
The
National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the
Ministry of Health will organize the Arogya 2012 International
Healthcare Exhibition and Medical Symposium from August 17 to 19, 2012
at BMICH. Arogya 2012 will be the meeting point for professional
businesses and the general public, to gather under one platform to meet
their knowledge integrators and suppliers, buyers to meet sellers and
general public and gather information on healthcare.
Concurrent to the exhibition a medical symposium will be held with a
series of workshops and sessions on special topics related to the
medical sector and addressed by world renowned speakers from overseas
and leading consultants/ medical practitioners from Sri Lanka.
The main objectives of the exhibition are to upgrade the quality of
healthcare in Sri Lanka, promote Sri Lanka as a health-hub in the
regions and promote tourism, create awareness of advanced treatments,
new products and services/methods among the general public,
professionals, students, overseas visitors, educate the local business
community on the opportunities available for exports and imports of
medical related products and services and to provide a common platform
for buyers, sellers and investors in the healthcare sector and others.
This year exhibitor profile includes pharmaceutical, medical
equipments, appliances and consumables, hospitals and clinics,
laboratory services, health and IT, health Professionals, health
insurance, health and manpower, leisure, sports, physiotherapy and
beauty care, health sector special projects managed by the government,
NGOs and others. |
