Two die in accident

Two persons were killed and three seriously injured when a three wheeler crashed into a lorry which was parked on the Maradankadawala, Habarana Road, at Ulpatha yesterday morning. The three wheeler driver died on admission to the Kekirawa hospital, while the injured were warded at the Anuradhapura Hospital.

The driver was a resident of Polonnaruwa. Meanwhile, Galenbindunuwewa Police are investigating an incident where three people were injured in a shoot out at Mawathawewa in Galenbindunuwewa.
