President visits Media Zone at Deyata Kirula exhibition

President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the Deyata Kirula national
development exhibition site yesterday together with Minister Ranjith
Siyambalapitiya and several officials.
The sixth Deyata Kirula exhibition is being held in Oyamadu,
Anuradhapura on a 600 acre land showcasing the country's development
achievements. Thousands of visitors have been thronging the Deyata
Kirula exhibition site from all parts of the country.
While paying a visit to the exhibition site, the President officially
unveiled a website to guide job seekers.
The website is run by the Youth Affairs Ministry. Job seekers or
employers can access the website by logging on www.nhrdc.net.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa later visited the Media Zone of the
exhibition.
Almost all electronic and print media organizations have set up their
stalls in the media zone. Thousand of visitors are keen on visiting the
Media Zone which provides them an insight into the role of electronic
and print media.
The Lake House stall had thousands of visitors who received valuable
information about the role of the print media. Besides, the visitors can
obtain a knowledge of printing technology. The first pages of Silumina,
Observer and Dinamina newspapers are being distributed free to visitors. |
