Roads closed for Perahera

Several roads will be closed today and tomorrow from 6.45pm for the Gangarama Nawam Maha Perahera.

The roads that will be closed are Sir James Peiris Mawatha (from Dharmapala Mawatha Junction, Slave Island Pittala Junction, Jinarathna Mawatha (Sir James Peiris Junction - Park St Junction), Muththaiya Road (Sir James Peiris Junction- Staple St Junction)

Nawam Mawatha (Sir James Peiris Junction - Uththarananda Mawatha Junction), W A D Ramanayaka Mawatha (Sir James Peiris Junction - Park Road Junction), Hunupitiya Cross Road (Dharmapala Road Junction - W A D Ramanayaka Junction), Lake House Roundabout (Jinarathna Road Lakehouse Road Junction - Ramanayaka Road Lakehouse Roundabout), Kollupitiya Uththarananda Road (Marcan Markar junction - Rotunda Roundabout), Perahera Mawatha (Sir James Peiris Junction - Rotunda Roundabout),
