The Natya Kala Mandhir will present Dheem Tharikita Thaa
choreographed and directed by the veteran dance teachers Kalasuri
Srimathy Vasuay Jegatheeswaran on Sunday February 5 at 5.30 pm at new
Kathiresan hall Bambalapitiya.
This mark its 35th anniversary in the sphere of Bharatha Natyam. The
South Indian Film and Television actress Srimathy Sudha Chandran will be
the chief guest while Managing Director of Express Newspapers Ceylon Ltd
S Kumas Nadesan, Sri Lanka Press Institute Chairman E Jeyarajah and
Naveen Ceramich (Pvt) Ltd Managing Director S Dayalan will be the guest
of honour.
On this occasion two pioneer Bharatha Natya teachers of Sri Lanka
Kalakeerthi Sirimathy Shanthini Sivanesan and Srimathy Shivananthy Hari
Dharshan are to be honoured. |
