V.A. Salinda Lakshan and Y.P.Thiranagama were the star batsmen for Ananda Sastralaya, Kotte in their inter-schools division III match against Shatrananda M.V. played at the Ananda Satralaya Grounds recently.

Lakshan hit a superb knock of 157 runs inclusive of 31 boundaries in his innings while Thiranagama

hit 100 runs with 20 boundaries and one over the fence.

Ananda Sastralaya were 352 for nine in their first innings. V.Manoj captured six for 61 on behalf of Shastrananda MV.

Shastrananda M.V. were bundled out for 149 in their first innings with S.Devasurendra, D.S.S.Dharmakeerthi and Malan Rathuse bagging two wickets each.

Shastrananda M.V. were 336 for five in their second innings with W.A.Vipula scoring 63 not out and also Lahiru Namal scoring 56. Gayashan Chaturanga took two for 41.
