Centuries by Nadun and Sabandu in drawn game

Matara Rahula College vice captain Nadun Tharanga and S R Sabandu of Sri Jayawardenapura MV scored centuries in their drawn under-19 division two tournament cricket encounter.

Nadun scored 102 from 127 deliveries with 12 boundaries and two sixes to help Rahula declare at 357/6 in 77.3 overs. Shehan Kahandagoda 88,

Tharindu Narasingha 60 and Piushan Kulathunga 56 contributed to the total. R R C Prasad took 3 wickets for 89 runs.

Sri Jayawardenapura MV were 276/8 in 111 overs at stumps. Left hand batsman S R Sabandu scored 104 from 197 balls with 15 boundaries while skipper Isuru Kariyawasam scored 80 runs. Lasindu Nimsara captured 3 wickets for 29 off the 20 overs he bowled.
