Sri Sanghamitta Vidyalaya receives ISO9001 certification for second time

Sri Sanghamitta Balika Vidyalaya, Colombo 10 has received the ISO9001 International Certification for the second time this year. The school received this certification (International certificate of standard 9001) in 2008 too, Sri Sanghamitta Balika Vidyalaya also has the distinction of being the only school in Sri Lanka to receive this certification awarded by India.

This certification is issued after monitoring the schools curricular, extra curricular and other activities and facilities continuously for an year. The certification is valid for a period of nine months and later extended based on its performance.

Principal of Sri Sanghamitta Balika Vidyalaya said the school was able to achieve this prestigious certification due to the dedicated efforts of the staff including the Deputy and Assistant Principals, School Development Society and the Past Pupils Association.
