Gift from CSD Seva Vanitha Unit:
New houses for War Heroes

The Civil Security Department's (CSD) Seva Vanitha Unit donated newly
constructed houses to two War Heroes in Unuwathura Bubula, Ampara and
Kohombagasthalawa, Batticaloa.
Participating as the chief guest, CSD Seva Vanitha Unit's Chairperson
Kumuduni Peiris handed over the key to CSD member R B Nandapala at a
function organized by the CSD in Unuwathura Bubula, Ampara.
On the same day at another ceremony in Kohombagasthalawa, Batticaloa,
Peiris handed over the keys of a newly constructed house to CSD member H
M Gunathileke.
The project was carried out under the guidance and supervision of CSD
Director General Rear Admiral Ananda Peiris.
The CSD Seva Vanitha Unit provided financial contributions and
supervised the implementation of the project while CSD members
contributed manpower.
The houses were provided with electricity and beneficiaries received
cutlery and crockery, household appliances and gifts which included
schoolbooks and bags.
These two CSD members had died in action defending the motherland.
Paying tribute to the War Heroes, the Seva Vanitha branch has donated 26
houses among 26 War Heroes living in Morawewa, Gomarankadawala,
Kebithigollewa, Vavuniya, Mahaoya, Wilpattu, Puttalam, Horowopatana,
Uhana, Polonnaruwa, Welioya, Anuradapura, Medawachchiya, Ampara, Yala,
Kataragama Saruwawila and Kantale last year.
