Oman assures Sri Lanka of crude oil

Oman will come forward to assist Sri Lanka by providing crude oil for refining, if it becomes necessary in the context of the current international situation.

Oman's Minister of Petroleum and Gas, Mohamed Bin Hamad Al-Rumhi, gave this assurance at a press conference held at the Petroleum Industries Ministry at the conclusion of the two day official visit to Sri Lanka with a special delegation recently. The Omani Minister said that Oman is prepared to extend and promote transactions with Sri Lanka with regard to petroleum based products.
