ERI and Your Radio up for promotions
Environmental Resou-rces Investment PLC, (ERI) the official sponsor
of the daily breakfast show of Your Radio - 88.3, recently held two
promotions for their regular listeners which had many callings and
winners chosen.
The first promotion was held during the Carlton Sevens Rugby
Tournament, where callers were offered valuable gifts courtesy of all
group companies. Among them were platinum rimmed porcelain plates with
the signatures of Jaffna Challengers team, Gift vouchers from DI
Leather, Discount vouchers on hotel bookings through RoomsNet.com and
other vouchers. ERI is the franchise holder of Jaffna Challengers rugby
team under the captaincy of Yoshitha Rajapaksa.

The company in its short span of operation has been recognized for
the partnership and commitment in the sporting arena through sponsorship
with Sri Lanka Cricket when they sponsored the West Indies tour of Sri
Lanka. ERI was the official sponsor of the Gymkhana Club for year 2011
and its subsidiary Ceylon Leather Products PLC was instrumental in
manufacturing the largest Cricket Ball during the last Cricket World
Cup. ERI was also a committed partner in the bid for the 2018 Common
wealth Games.
'Seven days of Christmas' the second promotion held during the
Christmas season where ERI and subsidiary companies offered a Christmas
Hamper worth Rs.10,000.00 for seven days with goodies ranging from food
and beverage items to Ceylon Leather Products and Dankotuwa Porcelain
products and hotel discounts.

The winners were handed over their winning hampers and gifts at the

IDM offers IT programmes by University of Wolverhampton - UK
IDM Nations Campus (Pvt) Ltd proudly announces its March intake of
two highly rated M.Sc programmes; M.Sc in Strategic IT Management (SITM)
and M.Sc in IT Management (ITM) offered by University of Wolverhampton -
UK (UOW-UK). Several batches of these programmes have been successfully
completed and ideally suited for managers who require Postgraduate
qualifications. According to Chairman Dr. Bandu Ranasinghe these are

Both M.Sc programmes are delivered by University of Wolverhampton's
School of Computing and Information Technology (SCIT) staff at IDM
Colombo. Each module will have a module support tutor from IDM. The
dissertation will be jointly supervised by SCIT and IDM staff.

all modules will have electronically supported on-line platforms, WOLF2
and PebblePAD, which allow student to student and student to tutor

issues. University of Wolverhampton (UOW) referencing techniques and
standards are taught in order to improve the independent learning

thinking for them, they take responsibility for thinking and learning.
University of Wolverhamptom Director of Studies Lionel Perera has been
working with IDM for the last seven years on the B.Sc top up programme,
and hence IDM staff members are well versed with independent learning
techniques. University of Wolverhampton Online Learning Framework
(WOLF2) will be widely used to facilitate project management and support
students' learning process. University on line resources will be a key
in providing students with access to up to date material relevant to
their study.
On completion of this M.Sc programme you will develop skills in
Academic Research, apply research in your area of work, improve work
process through research, Improve learning through sharing, be able to
publish journal papers, become an expert/ consultant and develop career
through your M.Sc.
