Foreign inflow Rs 34.3 million

The Colombo bourse snapped its winning streak yesterday and ended negative. However at the end of the day a reasonable recovery was witnessed in the market.

ASI declined by 61.64 points (-1.07%) to end at 5,692.93 and ASI dipped by 50.3 points (-1.01%) to close at 4,925.91.

Market turnover stood at Rs 831 million.

Acme Printing and Packaging Plc (Rs 173.4 million), John Keells Holdings Plc (Rs 45.6 million) and Environmental Resources Plc (Rs 41.1 million) made strong contributions to the daily turnover.

Meanwhile counters such as Swisstek (Ceylon) Plc, Environmental Resources Plc and Asia Asset Finance Plc depicted active level of trading.
