Corporal caught in ganja racket

Two suspects including an army corporal were arrested by Puttalam Police while they were transporting 638 grammes of ganja in a three-wheeler on Monday afternoon.

Investigations revealed that the drugs were being transported from Narammala for distribution among retail ganja peddlers in Puttalam. The suspects were due to be produced before the Puttalam District Judge yesterday. Investigations are continuing.
