Insurance cover for Deyata Kirula

The National Insurance Trust Fund (NITF) has extended special insurance cover to the tune of Rs 500 million for the Deyata Kirula exhibition in Oyamaduwa in Anuradhapura, a spokesman of the Fund told the Daily News yesterday.

He said that all visitors, exhibits, events and workers at the Deyata Kirula premises are insured under this special insurance coverage. He said that the insurance cover is already effective and would continue until February 10. The spokesman noted that the insurance policy documents were officially handed over to Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Ranjith Siyambalapitaya. He observed that all the workers at the exhibition site are also entitled to the insurance. The NITF is facilitating this insurance for the Deyata Kirula exhibition for the fourth consecutive time.
