DSSC struggle at Panadura

Royal College Panadura, took major honours at the end of the first
day scoring 213 for nine wickets in their inter-schools cricket
encounter against D.S. Senanayake College in Panadura yesterday.
The home team won the toss and chose to field. DSSC were skittled out
for 120 runs in 34.2 overs. Off spinners Kavindu Ashan and Thenuka
Dhananjaya captured four wickets each to wreck the DSSC’s innings.
Duleeka Brahmanage helped the visitors with 40 runs.
Panadura Royal were 213 for nine at the end of the first day. Right
hander Dulanjana Charith was the most batsman for the Royalists, scoring
68 runs inclusive of 12 boundaries.
