Maliban Kiri records highest growth
Maliban Kiri, made from 100% fresh cow’s milk from Australia, has
rapidly created a revolution in the highly competitive milk powder
market. It recorded the highest growth in 2011 in the milk powder
industry which comprises two multinational companies and seven other
national companies. Some of these companies has been in the market for
over fifty years.

Sri Lankan corporate has achieved this phenomenal growth in
competition with all these companies is a very significant achievement.
Founder A G A Hinniappuhamy said that consumers should be offered the
best standards, the best quality and the best nutrition at an affordable
price. His directive to his team was to manufacture and market only what
should be fit for consumption. When Maliban Milk was launched, consumers
took to it instantly.
The reason was trust and today Maliban Milk has triumphantly
reaffirmed that trust by becoming the first milk food company in Sri
Lanka to be awarded the ISO Certifications trinity; ISO 9001, ISO 22000

Kiri Australia Savari. This competition which ran during the past four
months was an unprecedented success with tens of thousands of consumers
