Free entrance for schoolchildren

Schoolchildren and teachers will be granted free entrance to the Deyata Kirula Exhibition which opens at Oyamaduwa Anuradhapura on February 4.

The organizing committee has requested schoolchildren visiting the exhibition to come in their school uniforms without bringing any parcels or school bags along with them. Other members of the public visiting the exhibition will be charged an entrance fee of Rs 20 each. The entrance ticket will be considered as a ticket for a daily lottery drawn at the exhibition site and special prizes will be awarded to the winners.

Each and every visitor to the exhibition will be granted an insurance cover of Rs 1 million for the duration of his or her stay in the exhibition grounds, said Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister and Deyata Kirula Exhibition Committee Chairman Ranjith Siyambalapitiya at a press conference at Oyamaduwa recently.
