Sebs rout Royal

St. Sebastians College, Moratuwa trounced Royal College, Colombo by ten wickets and were home for tea in their inter-school under 19 cricket match worked off at Moratuwa.

Royalists taking the first lease were all out for 176 runs with Isuru Gunatilleke making the top score of 64 runs with nine fours and in reply Sebs piled up 286 runs with Nishamal Fernando 64 with five fours and four sixes Anushka Fernando 51 with nine fours and one six and Avishka Fernando 50 with four fours and two sixes. Chammika Karunarathne and Poorna Aluthge captured 5 for 81 and 5 for 103 respectively.

In their second essay Royalists were bundled out for a Paltry 118 runs with Sanitha de Mel claiming 4 for 40. Set to make nine runs for victory Sebs scored the necessary runs without loss and the game ending at 2.45 pm.
