Abans launches dual SIM smartphone

Abans launched two of the newest additions to LG's Optimus Series of Android Smartphones - LG Optimus Net Dual (1st Dual Sim Smartphone in Sri Lanka) and LG Optimus Hub which run on the latest Android 2.3 platform recently. Known as "Gingerbread" version 2.3 of Google's Android mobile operating system, they offer enhanced multimedia support, enhanced power management and better gaming support.

The LG Optimus Net Dual is the next generation of social communication. It is Sri Lanka's 1st Dual Sim Android Smartphone. Featuring LG Social+, the Optimus Net combines the most popular social networking portals in one convenient widget right on the homescreen. With a single click, users can multitask between updating their status on Facebook or Twitter while reading their friends social media feeds on the same screen. The integrated social widget provides one-click photo sharing with multiple social media accounts from the home screen. In addition, the 3.2 HVGA (320 x 480) display delivers clearer, sharper viewing of multimedia content, while the LG Smart Share function allows sharing of content with other DLNA-friendly devices. The Optimus Net is Dual Sim compatible and boasts of a large 1500mAh battery and an 800 MHz CPU, ensuring longer lasting, better performance.

The LG Optimus Hub enables content sharing on the move, with highly enhanced capabilities and over 30% more battery power. With the LG Optimus Hub, users will be able to enjoy a digitally connected life, more easily sharing content with friends through mobile phones, TVs and PCs. The Optimus Hub's Wi-Fi Cast feature enables wireless sharing of contents, such as movies, songs and photos between mobile devices. The easy to use Smart Share UI (DLNA) feature enables content sharing seamlessly between mobile phones and TV's while the On-Screen Phone feature enables content sharing between mobile phones and personal computers.

LG has boosted the battery efficiency of the Optimus Hub by adding idle-based power management, increasing the new smartphone's battery life by over 30%. In addition the optimized fluent touch reaction feature enables the Optimus Hub to respond instantly to the users input for a higher touch refresh rate.
