AmCham luncheon seminar
The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham) is organizing
a luncheon seminar on 'The Future of the Aviation Industry in Sri Lanka'
on January 20, at the Moonstone and Amethyst, Hilton Colombo from 12.30
pm to 2 pm. The presentation will be followed by a moderated Q and A
panel discussion.
Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) Limited Chairman Prasanna
Wickramasuriya will be the guest speaker at this event. The Q and A
session will be moderated by Professor of Civil Engineering, Transport
and Logistics Management Department, Moratuwa University Prof Amal
Kumarage.
The panel comprises SriLankan Airlines Chief Marketing Officer G T
Jayaseelan, Sri Lanka Inbound Tour Operators Association President
Nilmin Nanayakkara, Civil Aviation Authority Senior Director Parakrama
Dissanayake and Hayleys Leisure and Aviation Sector Head Johann
Wijesinghe.
The scope of the seminar will be the international and domestic
airport developments in Sri Lanka, opportunities for international
airline industry, opportunities for domestic airline industry,
opportunities for International and domestic freight industry and
opportunities for aviation services related industries. i.e: aircraft
maintenance, ground handling, training etc.
