Kelaniya University: past vs present

University of Kelaniya Cricket team, one of the competitive successful and victorious teams with a long historic background in the University and the runners-up in the Sri Lanka University Games 2010 (SLUG) will conduct a Cricket Tournament between Former and Present cricketers of the University of Kelaniya which will be held on 15th January 2012 at the University of Kelaniya Grounds, Dalugama, Kelaniya, commencing at 10.00am.

Director, Physical Education, Saman Kumara, University of Kelaniya said that the main objectives of this cricket tournament are to provide equipment for the cricket team, to organize invitational inter-University Cricket Tournament before the Inter-University Cricket Championship 2012 to improve performances of the team and also to improve the friendship and understanding between present and former cricket players organize this as an annual event.
