Antonians in the box seat

A fine knock of 66 with 11 fours off 77 balls by skipper Sandun
Weerakkody helped Dharmaraja College to total 154 on the opening day of
their inter-school cricket match against St Anthony's College which
began at Katugastota yesterday.
If not for this good knock by Sandun Weerakkody, the Rajans would
have been in deeper trouble. In fact they were 140 for 4 at one stage
but lost their last 6 wickets for 14 runs with two leg spinners Suranga
Rajaguru (3 for 17) and Buwaneka Wijetunga (2 for 5) doing the damage.
At close, the Antonians have replied with 124 for 4 and if their
middle batting performs well this morning, the Rajans will face the task
in saving the match.
