Over Rs 700m for 186 NCP power projects

The Power and Energy Ministry and Ceylon Electricity Board have initiated 186 new power projects to coincide with the Deyata Kirula national exhibition to be held in Oyamaduwa, Anuradhapura.

Ministry sources said that Rs 700 million has been allocated for these power projects which will benefit 5,162 families. Twenty six projects have already been completed.
