prepared by the committee, said yesterday that they have decided not to
release any details until President Mahinda Rajapaksa decides on a
further course of action.
“We have handed over the report to the President. The report is under
careful attention,” she said. Asked if she could say something about the
‘content of results’ in question, whether A-L results are erroneous or
not, Wijetilleke said: “There was an error at the initial stage when
processing the results, but the Department of Examinations had corrected
it.”

the findings are in the report to be scrutinized by the President.
She refused to comment on the details stating that the committee has

by the Presidential Secretariat. Asked if she has any comments for
students and their parents who are eager to know about the correctness
of the results of their exam and the ‘Z score’, Dr Hirimburegama said
the Advanced Level results and the Z score are correct.
Asked about the recommendations made by them, she said they have made
