Recognising talents

Achiever’s Day, the prize giving of the Primary Section of Sujatha Vidyalaya Nugegoda was held at BMICH recently. The Chief Guest was First Lady Shiranthi Rajapaksa. Parliamentarian Dr J R P Sooriyapperuma was the Guest of Honour. It was organized as an annual event to motivate the students to develop their academic and co-curricular activities. The aim of the primary section is to polish the hidden talents and skills of the students and to evaluate their capabilities on the Achiever’s day. The welcome song and the display of the western band were some of the eye catching performance enjoyed much by the audience. Students were very enthusiastic and they impressed the parents via their unique performances. The event was organized under the supervision and guidance of the Primary Section Vice Principal Indika Wanigasekara. Sujatha Vidyalaya, Nugegoda Managing Director Lakshman Kuruppu and Principal Malini Abeysekera Dissanayake are also in the picture.
