| An exhibition and seminar on smoking,
which causes cancer, organized by the National Cancer
Hospital in collaboration with the National Authority on
Tobacco and Alcohol, Jeewaka Foundation and Cancer Helper’s
Society was held at the National Cancer Hospital yesterday.
Here Health Ministry Additional Secretary, Palitha Mahipala
presents a model of a box of cigarettes which is printed
with the pictures of cancers caused by smoking to Prof Carlo
Fonseka. National Cancer Hospital Director Dr Kanishka
Karunaratne, Dr Samadi Rajapaksha, Media Secretary to Deputy
Health Minister, Chamila Dissanayake were also present.
