Cow freed from slaughter
It's not everyday that we see this but when it does happen I do
happen people think twice about what this creature gives to humanity. If
we could get together and do this more often and free more innocent
lives bit by bit, I'm sure we can change the way we eat in every healthy
manner.
The staff of the electrical and maintenance unit of Lake House were
involved in the meritorious activity of freeing a cow destined to be
slaughtered last Unduvap Poya Day at Bokundara Sri Suseela Dharma
Nikethana. The cow was handed over to the farmer T Ariyadasa by Lake
House staff with the blessings of Ven Agaliye Suseela Himi
Viharadhipathi Thera of Bokundara Sri Suseela Dharma Nikethana.
Here the staff of Lake House along with the Maha Sangha, worshipers
who observed sil and T Ariyadasa with the freed cow.
